March Updates - Vaccines, BioTE, and Telehealth

Telehealth visits are available now. BioTE hormone replacement therapy can help you increase your mood and energy levels - schedule a consultation today!

We hope everyone is safe after the snowstorm last weekend. Remember, when shoveling snow, lift with your legs – not your back! 😊

Telehealth Visits
MedNOW Clinics continues to offer telehealth visits for patients that want to meet with their provider from the comfort of their home. Virtual appointments can be made for medication refills and most follow-up visits!
When you schedule a telehealth visit, you will navigate to the
Telemedicine page on the MedNOW Clinics website to find your provider’s link and join their virtual waiting room. At the time of your telehealth appointment, simply click on your provider’s link!
Please call the clinic nearest you to schedule an appointment:
Denver Clinic: 303.733.3764 | Aurora Clinic: 720.878.7055 | Lakewood Clinic: 303.985.1597

BioTE Hormone Therapy
Did you know that irritability, fatigue, mood changes, and anxiousness can all be caused from hormone imbalances? Hormones control some of the most essential processes in our bodies, and when they become unbalanced over time, we need a jump start to get them back where they need to be.
BioTE hormone therapy is offered at MedNOW Clinics. Call to schedule a consultation and see if hormone therapy would be beneficial to you!

COVID Vaccinations
Have you received your COVID vaccine yet? The
Vaccine Spotter website has been very helpful for patients to find available vaccination appointments.
Starting March 19, Colorado will be vaccinating people ages 50+, frontline essential workers, people with high-risk health conditions, and those who are vital in continuation of operations for state and government agencies. Please visit
this website to check eligibility for vaccines.
MedNOW Clinics does not have vaccinations for distribution to patients!

Sincerely,
Your MedNOW Clinics Providers

Alcohol use disorder continues to be a growing concern across the country. Millions of individuals are affected each year, and excessive alcohol use contributes to a significant number of preventable health issues and deaths in the United States. With April recognized as Alcohol Awareness Month, we want to take this opportunity to raise awareness and encourage reflection on how alcohol may impact your health, relationships, and overall well-being. While alcohol use is common, it’s important to recognize when it may be affecting your life or the lives of those around you. If you or a loved one may be struggling, please know that you are not alone. Our MedNOW providers are here to offer support, guidance, and treatment options tailored to your needs. We encourage you to reach out to your provider or contact your local MedNOW clinic to learn more about how we can help. There are effective treatment options available, including FDA-approved medications that can help reduce alcohol cravings. One commonly used option is Naltrexone, a once-daily medication that has been shown to decrease cravings with minimal side effects significantly. Additional prescription and over-the-counter options may also be appropriate depending on your individual situation. For more information about alcohol use and its effects, the CDC offers helpful resources. If you or someone you know needs immediate assistance, don't hesitate to get in touch with the National Drug and Alcohol Treatment Hotline at 1-800-662-HELP (4357). Thank you for prioritizing your health and well-being.
